My primary fields of research are user authentication and global perspectives of privacy. In the past, I have investigated issues related to user password hierarchy, mobile device password entry, and password memorability. I have also worked in several projects on philosophy of cybersecurity, social ciphering, and privacy in public. More recently, I have been collaborating with researchers across the world for different ICT for Development (ICTD) projects, including technology induced job displacement, sharing economy, and designing for Internally Displaced Populations (IDPs).
